The Nike SB Dunk Low ” Nike Gulf ” is a colorway of the low-top skate shoe that was inspired by the Porsche 917 Gulf race car and will be released in March 2021. The legendary Porsche 917 Gulf was a low-slung race vehicle from the 1970s that helped Porsche win the 24 Hours of Le Mans back-to-back in 1970 and 1971. The SB Dunk Low “Gulf” is inspired by the future prototype race car’s blue-and-orange style. The entire upper, including the base and panel overlays, is made of Blue Chill suede. The Swoosh emblem on both sides of the shoe has black trim, and the heel has a black embroidered “Nike” logo. The “58” emblem on the lateral heel and tongue, inspired by motorsports, is thought to be a reference to Club 58, a skate shop that may have influenced the design of the “Gulf.” a deep black
