The Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 990 is one of two colors of the premium streetwear brand’s lifestyle sneaker released in the fall of 2019. The excitement for this one-two punch of high quality, timeless designs produced such a disturbance at Aime Leon Dore’s in-store release that the NYPD had to cancel it. The shoes include enhanced materials such as a dark green suede mid-panel with a contrasting grey suede toe cap and heel on this 990 model. The forefoot and ankle collar have blue suede overlays, with a beige mesh foundation tying the appearance together. Yellow embellishments and laces add a nice flash of color, and the heel has a “ALD” branding window. On November 15, 2019, the Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 990 M990AL2 was released.
